It's said that if the inverter is connected with reversed polarity unfused that the entire inverter is fried. For someone to respond with a text book answer would be unreliable because the lack of actual hands on experience. Something in this inverter is replaceable or repairable to get it back operating again. I'm not an expert when it comes to electronics and think I still have some common knowledge. People give advice to replace the fuse, well there are no fuses then they say it's toast and unrepairable, I find unrepairable to be unacceptable. I know it would probably be easier to just buy another one and is probably that simple for most I happen to not be one of those people and have only one option and that is to try or attempt to fix/repair it. Something on the inverter was damaged but shows no sign of any damage but you can smell something burned. I refuse to believe that it's unrepairable. Some people say that it's not repairable that the whole thing is destroyed. Just wondering what part of the inverter gets destroyed when there are no fuses.
